Cowboy Blues - Abstract
This mixed media piece was made with acrylic paint, acrylic gouache, water soluble crayons, and pencil crayons, on an 8×10 inch cold pressed watercolour board. I found myself getting into a colour palette rut, so I challenged myself to create a piece in a palette completely outside my comfort zone. It took a lot of messing around, but I’m so happy with the result. This is by far my favourite abstract piece I’ve made. It only photographs well in natural light though, ergo the weird photos.
